SEED student Caroline focuses on the impact of Parkinson's Disease on the hippocampus, using data analysis in Python. The student compared neural signals from normal and Parkinsonian mice, revealing significant differences such as increased amplitude, frequency, and spike count in Parkinsonian mice, along with decreased threshold crossings, AHP, and time to peak values. This research sheds light on a less-explored aspect of the disease.
